    @djwhetzel you …
    @djwhetzel you could always relocate closer to the rear edge and go right through the weather stripping and up to the roof only leaving the inch or so of wire exposed on the roof and nicely tucked away so wont get pinched as well…. ill have the final review with the way that i have it ran showing you guys what i did.. so stay tuned for that coming soon

    @djwhetzel true but …
    @djwhetzel true but whats it going to stick to to keep the antenna from going everywhere.. than your also going to have the wire running and sticking out on the inside of the vehicle somewhere. but good input and much appreciated

    @iamdasht19 I …
    @iamdasht19 I understand that it won’t be the same quality as placing the antenna on the outside of the car, but I would think that it would still work okay.

    I actually use to have a DVD player with a TV tuner built in in one of my older cars and I attached the antenna for that, via double sided tape, to the inside of my windshield and it worked great.

    It’s not that big of a deal though. Thanks anyway.

    @jamredrum Thanks …
    @jamredrum Thanks for the tip, but my antenna is in the center of my roof towards the back of the car (2010 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport).

    @jamredrum right …
    @jamredrum right but hes talking about out the window not in the car… and to solve that problem tuck it in and through the weather stripping and than you wont have to worry about it coming out your door and showing a good amount of wire… keeps it nice and clean in that instance.

    @djwhetzel You …
    @djwhetzel You could just run the wire though your dash and attach it by your radio antenna and keep excess wire in your dash

  12. by iamdasht19 on July 27th, 2010 at 6:35 pm

    @djwhetzel the …
    @djwhetzel the antenna is magnetic so wont work on a back dash has to be on steel and outside the vehicle is going to get better reception with the antenna than inside with steel and everything else blocking.

    This seems …
    This seems interesting.

    I would like to request a small test if you wouldn’t mind doing it for me.

    I’m not a huge fan of having cords hanging out of my windows so I was wondering if you could do a quick test with the antenna in the rear dash of your vehicle (or somewhere similar inside) for me and see if it works okay like that?

    If it’s not too much trouble, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks and I look forward to your test results either way.
